Chapter two pages 42-43

“Look out your going to crash in the water.” I shouted.

“Push the four pointed star Frank.” He responded. I reached out and touched it. It began to glow from the activation.

“Hold on, prepare for a slight jolt.” I heard my father say just as we entered the water with surgical precision. “You just engaged our underwater shields and compression algorithm by touching that.” He continued obviously trying to impress us. We began to descend into the dark water at a rapid pace.

“Where are we?” I started. But abruptly stopped when I saw the bottom of the ocean approaching when I shouted. “Look out.” And grabbed the seat for my life.

“Calm down, it’s a hologram.” My father shouted. The craft rapidly decelerated and came to a complete halt. “Look at that” he added. Pointing to the view screen and the three large pyramids in front of us. “We’re in the pacific ocean about 100 miles from San Diego, California.”

“Now sit back and watch the show. We found that this set of Pyramids was built by an ancient atlantean survivor.” My father said as we drifted along the base the first of the pyramids. The base must have been three hundred yards long. The capstone of the pyramid looked as if it pierced the sea itself. Extending high into the sea, sides covered in colorful coral growth.

As we moved passed the first pyramid my father continued.

“His name was Ophysis and he built these pyramids in 9878 B.C only three years after the destruction of atlantis. He was so meticulous that he traveled to the Hall of records we just left long after it was deserted. With one purpose, to deposit twelve tablets containing the secrets of these pyramids. We sent a team here eighteen years ago and began operations almost fifteen.”

“The monkeys, that’s what we call you outside scientist. Found the three accompanying pyramids about three years ago and we had to cease operations. We passed them on descent they were originally built on a mountain almost half a mile above these. If these were topside you could see the monkeys scratching their heads trying to figure out how slaves built those way up there. Anyway, the hologram is our tool to divert them from finding these.”

My father guided the craft in front of the middle pyramid and faced the magnificent structure. It stood twice the size of Giza and this one had little coral growth on it. The face was slick and gleamed a brilliant white. The light reflected off the pyramid in an array of prismatic colors. He then touched the decahedron shape on the console and began pressing the touch pad while watching a screen of the solar system.

“What are you doing?” I asked.

“Finding the location of Orion’s belt so I can program the harmonic pulse generator. The location determines the harmonic frequency needed to open the door. It changes as the location of the stars change.” He answered.

In the middle of the base a large column of stone began to rise. Sand and coral from the seabed and edges of the doors spread its cloud quickly encompassing our craft. Visibility was zero for a few moments when it cleared the craft eased into the doorway. It was very dark inside I could hear the doors closing behind us. Above us the ceiling opened and the craft slowly floated to the top.

The craft came to a stop and the door began to open cueing us to exit. When we stepped out of the craft, I was overtaken by the vastness of the structure. The entire center of the pyramid was hollow reaching high above us to the capstone. A bright light illuminated from an object floating in the center of the pyramid just below the capstone. Stone staircases crawled all the way to the top of the structure. Open arched doorways sat on each wall four per level the archways were glowing brilliantly from the lights inside. Stairs in each of the four corners led to each new level.

Then I looked at my feet and realized we were standing on steel.

“Ah you noticed we had to build this docking bay. We had to put this over the wooden one that was here to pump the inside down and explore it.” My father said. “Now let’s get those disk up in the computer and see what Jennings has up his sleeves. Now head on up to the fourth floor on the east wall there’s a regular computer there. I’ll be up in a few minutes.” As he walked away he finished. “Hurry we’ve got a conference with the council in less than thirty minutes.”

Sylvia and I made our way to the bottom of the east staircase and my father disappeared through a set of doors on the bottom level.

“Finally we get to find out what’s on this disk.” Sylvia said as we walked up the stairs. I could tell it was a relief for her as much as it was for me.
